Yu has reportedly added Facebook to its Peperusha platform, allowing users to access the social networking site available without the need for an internet connection.
Users of Peperusha, Yu’s SMS chat and email service, can now update their Facebook status or profiles as well as chat using their standard mobile phones with no internet capabilities.
Yu will charge US$0.002 per Facebook chat message or comment sent. Users can also receive Facebook updates from friends.
