Prisons dance competition launched

Prisons sakata dance competition season two was yesterday launched at the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison. The event was first launched at the Industrial Prison. Nairobi Provincial Prison Commander Wanini Kireri who official launched the sakata competition said they saw a need for inmates to be exposed and to realise their talents. “At first, we started the dance competition to encourage the inmates to use their talents and to keep them occupied,” said Kireri. Kireri said that the competitions has made the inmates to unleash their talents and potential making them adapt to prison life as a way of rehabilitation.-THE STAR
